Non s'installa KB890830 (Strumento rimozione malware)

Come da oggetto, da Windows Update *non* s'installa tale componente,
l'ho scaricato ed installato manualmente, ma mi viene sempre
riproposto... che fare per risolvere?

Su Windows Vista si chiama (anche nella versione italiana) "Windows
Update", giusto? Prima si chiamava "Aggiornamenti automatici"...

Beh, se è quello, si trova "arrestato" e come tipo di avvio è
"Automatico (avvio ritardato)".

Posso provare da cmd, ma come si chiama il servizio da stoppare con "net
stop"?

e da quella vai a rinominare la cartella softwaredistribution.

Mi dice "Accesso negato".
Ho riavviato in modalità provvisoria, rinominata la cartella, ora in
avvio normale ha ricreato la cartella SoftwareDistribution ma se avvio
Windows Update e gli faccio installare i 2 agg. che mancano, mi dice che
c'è un altro aggiornamento in corso...

Ho riavviato, ed ora prima di spegnersi mi dice che sta installando 1
agg. di 1...
vedremo dopo che cosa fa... vi riaggiorno.

Se gli dico di installarli, mi dice errore 80240016, sostenendo di avere
un altro aggiornamento in corso.

aver riavviato il PC, ha iniziato a scaricare ed installare i 2 agg.

Si, l'avevo detto, ma poi ci sono riuscito in "modalità provvisoria"
(credo di averlo menzionato nel thread).

Ho disinstallato la SP1, riavviato, effettuato gli aggiornamenti
indicati (tranne la SP1) e *magicamente* si sono installati tutti.

Ora rimetto la SP1...
